Remembering Your Cookie Preferences
An essential cookie stores your choice, the notice version, the time and a random receipt ID for up to 180 days. We also keep a consent record on our server. Records older than 395 days are removed through our regular deletion routine. This is our retention policy, not a general legal requirement. The consent record contains no email address, IP address or trip details; this refers to the consent record itself, not technical server logs. We store it to apply and document your choice (Article 6(1)(c) or (f) GDPR, where applicable).
Optional Travel Chat
When you explicitly start the AI travel chat, an essential session cookie with a random identifier lasts for one hour and connects messages to your active session. A history cookie remembers your browser for 30 days so you can reopen previous conversations. These identifiers are not used for advertising. Closing the chat ends the current session; the history remains for the stated retention period and can be deleted by you. Starting the chat also calls Cloudflare Turnstile for a security check. A summary you choose to transfer to an enquiry form may be stored temporarily in your browser session storage; it is no longer used after 15 minutes. Read more about OpenAI, retention and deletion in our AI travel chat privacy information.
Analytics
With your consent, Google Analytics processes page views, device and browser information, and pseudonymous identifiers. The provider is Google; its privacy information generally identifies Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, as responsible for EEA users. An analytics cookie distinguishes browsers and has a default lifetime of up to two years. Other analytics cookies support session management. A cookie lifetime is different from the retention period for data held by the provider.
Marketing and Conversion Measurement
With your marketing consent, Google Ads uses advertising and event identifiers, page information and device data to attribute and measure enquiries and, where applicable, personalise advertising. Cookies may be set to attribute advertising interactions, depending on your interaction with an ad. Approved Google services are loaded through Google Tag Manager. Google Privacy Policy · How Google Uses Cookies.
The OpenAI Ads Pixel helps attribute successful enquiries to advertising interactions. It processes technical usage data, cookie identifiers and an event identifier. The event fields we send to the pixel contain no form messages, names, phone numbers or email addresses. Technical connection data, including an IP address, may nevertheless be sent to the provider when the pixel loads. According to the provider documentation, an advertising-attribution cookie lasts for 30 days from when it is saved, and a browser-recognition cookie lasts for 365 days from creation. A new visit through a corresponding advertising link restarts the 30-day period; merely reading the existing cookie does not extend it. These periods concern browser storage, not the retention of event data by the provider. OpenAI Provider, Contact and Privacy Information.
With your marketing consent, we also use the Meta Pixel to measure page views and successfully submitted enquiries and attribute advertising on Facebook and Instagram. For EEA users, the provider is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin D04 X2K5, Ireland. It may process page addresses, event and browser identifiers, and technical connection and device data, including an IP address. Meta may link this information to an existing account and use it for interest-based advertising. The event fields we configure contain no form messages, names, email addresses or phone numbers. A lead event is triggered only after an enquiry is successfully submitted and email-verified. For provider retention periods, recipients, international transfers and your rights, see the Meta Privacy Policy and Meta Cookies Policy.
Optional analytics and marketing rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG, where applicable). Strictly necessary storage and access may fall within the exceptions in Section 25(2) TDDDG. The cookie lifetimes stated here are based on provider documentation. The optional cookies actually set depend on your choices and advertising interactions.
