Your journey begins on arrival in Hanoi. Your private driver will meet you at the airport with a sign bearing your name and take you to your accommodation in the city centre, close to the Old Quarter. Explore at your own pace or relax at your hotel after the flight.

Arrive in Ri village for a welcome drink and light snacks. Your first host, Mr Duoc, is a Vietnam War veteran and tea farmer. Hear stories from his life over a drink, then visit his plantation to learn how the best leaves are selected for Vietnamese tea. See the largely handmade processing methods in his small workshop.
A short drive takes you to Moc village to meet Mrs Chin. Learn how to prepare local Vietnamese dishes, then enjoy the lunch you have made in her tropical garden.
After a break, walk through the village with Mrs Chin. Visit families to learn about rural life and the making of tofu, conical hats and other local products, then cycle through rice fields.
Relax with a warm herbal foot bath prepared using traditional Muong recipes, then transfer back to your accommodation.

In the afternoon, travel around 15 kilometres west of Siem Reap to Pouk District and visit a silk farm. Follow the process from growing food for silkworms and raising them to extracting and preparing the silk, traditional dyeing, pattern design and weaving.
On the return journey, stop at the West Baray, a reservoir roughly 8 by 2.3 kilometres in size that helped support farming around Angkor.
