After completing the customs formalities, go to the exit and look for your driver, who will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a sign displaying your name. If you cannot find your driver, please go to the airport information desk and call the number on your confirmation voucher for assistance.

Discover Hanoi's many sides today. Begin at the Museum of Ethnology for an insight into Vietnam's cultural diversity, then visit the Temple of Literature, a peaceful oasis in the city. Lunch is at KOTO Restaurant, which trains disadvantaged young people for careers in hospitality.

In the afternoon, take part in a special cooking class at Rose Kitchen. Shop for fresh ingredients at the market with a local chef, then learn to prepare and enjoy authentic Vietnamese dishes.

After a 4-hour transfer from Hanoi, arrive at your accommodation in time for a delicious lunch. You then have time to explore the beautiful reserve, with its panoramic views and peaceful surroundings.

After lunch, experience village life and meet people living in the hills above the retreat. Discover daily routines, walk through the fields and learn about the local culture before walking back to the retreat.

Begin the day with a 6 km walk down into an idyllic valley opposite Pu Luong Retreat. Follow narrow paths through lush vegetation to a picturesque village at the foot of a mountain, with wonderful opportunities for photographs. Walk past the palm-fringed village of Uoi and continue to Lan, where aromas from the houses drift through the valley. Enjoy the changing scenery on the way to another beautiful spot. Return to the retreat for lunch, then travel to Ninh Binh.

After checking in at the resort, the evening is at leisure.

After breakfast, travel to Tho Ha village for a leisurely 5–15 km cycle ride through quiet villages and attractive countryside. In Dong Tam hamlet, join activities such as catching crabs, fishing or planting vegetables. Then take a cooking class and enjoy a traditional lunch with a local family, including sweet potato cakes and grilled fish. In the afternoon, explore the impressive Galaxy Grotto by rowing boat, seeing its sparkling stalactites and a bat colony. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon for free time.

After breakfast, travel to famous Halong Bay. Check in on board and begin your cruise through a spectacular landscape of striking limestone islands rising from emerald waters. Enjoy lunch before exploring hidden karst formations by kayak. Back on board, relax, join activities and admire the sunset. A delicious dinner on deck awaits in the evening.

As the sun rises over Halong Bay, take part in a Tai Chi session before a light breakfast. Later in the morning, you can take a short excursion to one of the bay's most beautiful caves. On returning, complete the check-out formalities and enjoy brunch as the ship heads back to port. We then transfer you to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. On arrival, travel to a lovely resort in peaceful countryside. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Lanterns are Hoi An's colourful symbol, so why not make one yourself? In the morning, walk through the charming lanes of the Ancient Town and visit highlights including the Japanese Bridge, Tan Ky Old House, and the Phuc Kien and Cantonese assembly halls. Discover the lively Central Market, then enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the Thu Bon River, passing fishing boats and peaceful villages.

Return to the hotel in the early afternoon.

Today, explore the fascinating world of woodworking in Cui Lu village, surrounded by rice fields. The “Driftwood Village” is known for artworks made from wood collected on nearby beaches. Learn about its sustainable craftsmanship and village history. Under the guidance of local artisans, discover carving techniques and create and paint your own artwork.

Then transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Begin at Saigon's iconic Central Post Office, a masterpiece of French colonial architecture. Meet Mr Duong, known for his love letters. Walk along Dong Khoi Street to Gia Long Palace, then continue to Le Loi Street to meet an artisan specialising in traditional engraving. Explore the old Central Market and an apartment building from the colonial period, built in 1886. Browse the quirky boutiques and cafés of young, creative Vietnamese people. Finish at the former Banque de l'Indochine building.

Travel to Coco Riverside Lodge in Vung Liem in the morning. After lunch at the resort and a rest, cycle through the village in the afternoon. At Mr Cong's, learn to make puffed rice, a popular snack that is later given as a gift. Experience local daily life and, if possible, visit a duck farm and fruit orchard to taste fresh fruit. Back at the lodge, meet a Vietnam War veteran and hear his story. In the evening, join a cooking class and enjoy dinner.

After breakfast, take a boat trip to see the busy life on the Mekong River. Visit the Cao Dai temple and workshops to see how coconut fibres are made into different products.

Phu Quoc is a tropical paradise, ideal for relaxing beach days and fun in the water. Swim, play or go snorkelling. Families can visit Vinpearl Land amusement park and its water park, or see wildlife at Vinpearl Safari. Nature lovers can enjoy a picnic at Suoi Tranh Waterfall or a jungle walk.
