Techo International Airport, code KTI, began commercial operations on 9 September 2025, replacing the former Phnom Penh International Airport for scheduled passenger flights. Earlier announcements had proposed a July opening; that date is now out of date.
The airport lies south of Phnom Penh, so allow for a different transfer from the former airport. Confirm KTI on your booking and arrange transport around your actual arrival time.
Designed by Foster + Partners, the terminal uses a broad roof canopy to filter daylight into the interior.
