Thailand’s passport rose two places to 61st in the early 2025 Henley Passport Index. The report offered a snapshot of travel access for Thai passport holders at that time.

The index counted access to 82 destinations without a visa arranged before departure, including relevant visa-on-arrival arrangements. This should not be read as unconditional visa-free entry to every destination.

Singapore led that edition with access to 195 destinations, followed by Japan with 193. Finland, France, Germany, Italy, South Korea and Spain shared third place with 192.

Henley’s rankings draw on IATA data and are updated as entry arrangements change. These are historical figures: travellers should check official requirements for their passport, purpose of travel and destination before booking.
