Bangkok ranked first for Facebook check-ins and Tripadvisor reviews in Resonance’s 2025 Asia-Pacific Best Cities report.
The report assessed 140 cities through measures grouped around liveability, lovability and prosperity. These online-engagement results reflected the capital’s visibility and visitor activity, rather than an overall first-place ranking.
Bangkok placed sixth overall in that report. Its temples, food, shopping and neighbourhoods offer many ways to explore beyond the places most often photographed.
