Thailand Digital Arrival Card: Timing and Official Application Site

Check when to submit Thailand’s free Digital Arrival Card, use the official website and understand how it differs from a visa.

Thailand introduced the Digital Arrival Card, or TDAC, on 1 May 2025 to replace the paper TM6 arrival form for most non-Thai travellers entering by air, land or sea.

Complete the form through the official Immigration Bureau website. It requires travel and passport details, an address in Thailand and an email address. Keep the confirmation available for arrival.

The official guidance says to submit within the three-day window before arrival, including the arrival date. It does not mean the form must be completed at least three days in advance.

Submission through the official website is free. TDAC is an arrival form, not a visa or a guarantee of entry.

Travellers transiting without passing immigration do not need TDAC. Check the official guide for other exemptions and current instructions. If you encounter a technical problem, keep a screenshot and seek help from immigration staff rather than relying on an old promise of a paper-form alternative.
