Archive: Thailand’s Tourism Authority announced the Amazing Beach Life Festival for July and August 2024, with events in Rayong, Phang Nga, Phuket and Songkhla.
The series formed part of the government’s ‘Ignite Tourism Thailand’ campaign.
It aimed to encourage travel during the green season.
Four established coastal destinations hosted the programme.
Organisers hoped to bring visitors to nearby communities as well as the main beaches.
The announced dates were 12–14 July in Rayong, 26–28 July in Phang Nga, 2–4 August in Phuket and 9–11 August in Songkhla.
Activities included music, workshops, markets, food stalls and beach sports.
Installations highlighted each host destination.
The programme also promoted responsible tourism.
TAT worked with PTT Global Chemical on waste management.
Visitors were encouraged to separate waste and join creative activities using recycled materials.
Admission was advertised as free for the 2024 event. Check the current calendar before planning a future visit.
